Certain gamepads are not working in Safari, but do work in Chrome. I tested these controllers:
- AXIS T8311 Joystick
- CH Products IP Desktop USB Joystick
- DualShock 4 controller
After connecting each to the Mac via USB, I tested each on https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad and only the DualShock 4 was recognized, even after pressing each button, twisting each axis, and a combination of the two on each gamepad. Testing each controller again in Chrome, all 3 were recognized.
When testing on a Mac running Mac OS X 13, WebKit recognized these controllers in both Safari and Chrome
