Created attachment 471337 [details] Accessible-event listener focused.py Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch a non-flatpak, GTK4 WebKitGTK browser. (I'm using Epiphany 46.0 with WebKitGTK 2.44.1.) 2. Launch the attached accessible-event listener in a terminal 3. Press Tab to move among focusable objects in the web content Expected results: Each time focus changes in the page, the listener prints the newly-focused object. Actual results: Nothing is printed each time focus changes in the page. Note: It's not *just* focused events that are missing. All events appear to be. Impact: This completely breaks accessibility for Orca users.

After diagnosing this issue, we concluded that this is a collateral effect of https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=240522. Fixing the other bug will automatically fix this. Marking as a duplicate! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 240522 ***
