Created attachment 468971 [details] Hover, double label This is a Safari compatibility issue, when the value is longer than the widget, after hovering for slightly longer, the secondary text appears. In Chrome, only one text appears.(screen recording attached) This is occurring in our territory list selector widget for our CRM Analytics tool.

Thank you for the report. Seeing that it appears to be an Apple internal website, please file this with detailed steps to reproduce using Radar or https://feedbackassistant.apple.com. It will be helpful to post the radar number or feedback ID here afterwards.

@Alexey Proskuryakov The associated radar is rdar://118081520 - would the fix still be made through webkit? Let me know next steps, Thanks

Omandt, another possibility to reduce the issue with a minimal test case. I have requested access to the radar in the meantime.

Might be known issue similar to listed here (still reproducible based on below test case in Safari 17.2.1): https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-material2-issue-6gatfl?embed=1&file=app/app.component.ts https://github.com/angular/components/issues/7469 From the screenshot, it might be the text is too long, so this lead to issue. __ PURE Speculation here that it is same issue (based on screenshot).

Just to add to reproduce on WebKit ToT (use 'run-safari' rather than 'run-minibrowser').
