When using an HTML Table with collapsed borders in iOS Safari, there is whitespace shown between the cells at various zoom levels when zooming using pinch to zoom. The following fiddle reproduces this issue if you zoom into the rendered Table region using Safari on iOS:

This makes the table look broken when background colors are applied across cells / rows (for conveying selection for example).
