The HTML spec will be updated to use a different destination when fetching JSON and CSS modules: https://github.com/whatwg/html/pull/9486, https://github.com/whatwg/fetch/pull/1691 Tests are being written at https://github.com/web-platform-tests/wpt/pull/41665 Import attributes are already implemented in safari TP, with the previous fetching semantics.
