That pull request was merged, but this bug is still open. Is this bug resolved?
As a side note, I was hoping this would be fixed in the final iOS 17.1 release but it still appears present. I tested iOS 17.1 beta 3 and it seemed the bug was resolved there. Did this fix not make it into iOS 17.1?

We discovered a late-breaking crash that caused this fix to not make the cutoff for 17.1. (Ref: bug #263038.) That crash has been resolved, and we will ping the thread when the fix is available (again) for testing.

Jer tells me that the fix was landed via bug 261563, so duping. This is fixed in WebKit code base, but is yet to be shipped in iOS.
