See for example on bug 255987 On OpenGL, fullscreen Studio display 5120x2880 runs full rate, 60 fps. On Metal, fullscreen Studio display 5120x2880 runs 32 fps. Resizing the app to smaller window increases the frame rate. Disabling the shaders in Web Inspector increases the frame rate.
