On https://tekeye.uk/html/html5-video-test-page, the first test failed. MP4 videos cannot be played in 2.41.2/ Tech Preview but they can in 2.40/ 44.1.
I have max-ranked gst-va decoders and enabled the DMABuf sink.

This with Ephy TP?
Logs please!

I can reproduce this issue, seems soup/network related, the webinspector shows errors for the corresponding mp4 file.

I'm not sure how that video plays in Chrome.... The <video> <source> points to https://tekeye.uk/html/images/Joren_Falls_Izu_Jap.mp4 which is... HTML?

Surely not all MP4 videos are broken?
Kdwk
I am unable to test this again at present because Nvidia. Once I can play videos again I’ll re-test this.

I am still unable to play videos on Nvidia. This may change when the next Nvidia driver version is released

This seems fixed in 2.46.1. Closing.
