From https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=230902#c120: I have tested on a iPhone 7 Plus running 15.4 Beta (19E5241a) and the issue is still happening. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open 2 tabs in Safari and navigate to an application that uses WebRTC in both tabs. 2. Start and complete 1 call in first tab. 3. Switch to Tab 2 and repeat step 2. 4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 at least 2-3 times to see issue occur. It appears that after certain amount of back to back calls Safari starts routing the audio to the headpiece instead of the external speakers.
