1. Open Preferences
2. Go to RSS tab
3. Set Default RSS reader to WebKit
4. Open any of the bookmarked RSS feeds (in my case on the Bookmarks bar)
5. Page never loads and goes to refresh endlessly

Don't set WebKit.app to your default RSS reader. It's not supported, and leads to things becoming confused due to the trickery that WebKit.app does in order to take over Safari's dock icon on launch.
