Example of repaint issues with color Ahem when modifying font-palette

Safari TP Release 137 (Safari 15.4, WebKit 17613.1.11.8)

1) Open http://wpt.live/css/css-fonts/font-palette-13.html
2) Inspect element on colored Ahem Square
3a) Disable font-palette in Style or
3b) Change fontsize between 48px to 54px up and down, step by step by using arrow up/down

Actual:
1) Remaining red lines stuck on top and below of Ahem block

I don't think this has anything to do with palettes, but is just due to the fact that the glyphs paint right up to their layout bounds.
