Description Stefan Arentz 2021-11-25 16:28:26 PST
I noticed that “Allow Cross-Website Tracking” is unexpectedly enabled for Firefox and if I try to disable it, the checkbox give a little wiggle and haptic feedback but does not actually change.

This doesn't seem to be Firefox specific though - I get the same for Focus, Klar and Chrome.

I'm reporting this for iOS 15.1.1 but I also experienced it on iOS 15.1.

Maybe a recent regression in the Settings.app? After https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=228643 we definitely verified the fix - but I think that was on iOS 15.0 RC.

Is there an update on this bug? Did the Radar status change?

This bug is not in a component controlled by the WebKit project. It’s an error in another part of the OS, and is being investigated and resolved in the above radar.

The fix for this issue shipped in iOS 15.3.
