On some sites, Gecko renders <select> HTML elements in a matter similar to GtkComboBoxEntry. This is the case of <select> items available in linked URL[1] (page in Italian, sorry). WebKitGtk instead render those elementes as tiny button, while the best should be at least as GtkComboBoxes, for example see the example here http://www.w3schools.com/TAGS/tag_select.asp. [1] If you select something in this page, then click on the image/text "Avanti", you will proceed to the second page of the form with a lot wrong <select> examples

Created attachment 25773 [details] Case page (URL) showed in FireFox 3 As you can see the <select> item don't use the native GTK+ widget provided by Firefox 3

Created attachment 25774 [details] Case page (URL) showed in Epiphany+WebKit (trunk) <select> item seems a button, don't match neither the usual <select> item, nor the previous Gecko rendering Note: in those screenshot there are selected some values you can use to clic "Avanti" and go to second page of form with more <selec> items :-)

Is this still an issue for you. It looks like the link you provided is broken now. If you can provide a new link which shows this issue, I will try to tackle it soon.

I haven't heard from the reporter, so I'm going to close this issue. I'm tackling button and general form control issues full time now, so please file a new issue or reopen if appropriate.
