When using SMIL animation to switch page views the screen display is not cleared or refreshed. The main page view and other fragments are still visible when you click the SVG menu item and subsequent page views.

I can't reproduce the bug. The animation runs smoothly and no repainting issues.
But I can see another issue with the nightlys and activated filters. The filter are redrawn multiple times. That makes the site incredible slow and nearly unseable.
