Safari 15.5 differs from other browsers
I am able to reproduce this bug in Safari 15.5 / Safari Technical Preview 148 on macOS 12.4 using attached test case, while all other browsers as shown in the screenshot render vertical text correctly. Thanks!

Created attachment 371545 [details] 'vert' font feature is ignored in SVG Vertical glyphs are not used in SVG vertical text. You should use 'vert' font feature of OpenType font in vertical text. In HTML vertical text, it seems no problem.
