Login to GMail
Compose a new message
Click on the Numbered List button
Press return
The editor should break out of the empty list item. Instead the list item is indented. Doesn't happen in Google Docs or TinyMCE. Also, type some text before hitting return and the carriage return does nothing.
<rdar://problem/6050148> GMAIL (REGRESSION): With the caret in a list, pressing return key doesn't create a new list item

I tested the issue in the latest WebKit and i found no buggy behavior. So the bug is fixed. Justin, can you confirm it?
Justin Garcia
Yea I believe this was a bug in GMail that has since been fixed.
