Description Martin Häcker 2019-03-13 00:38:21 PDT
https://webkit.org/status/ is missing the feature that <input type=datetime> and other related types show native date/time pickers. This is partially supported on iOS, but not at all on the Desktop. See https://caniuse.com/#feat=input-datetime for the current status of this.

There is also a bug that is tracking this feature in this database https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119175 but it seems that it is not linked / tracked in the feature matrix and thus getting ignored. I theorise that the right people are _not_ aware that this feature is actually missing - so this bug report is about trying to change that and getting this feature tracked in the feature matrix of webkit so the steering committee actually becomes aware of them missing it.

ping?
Comment 2 Martin Häcker 2020-10-23 00:13:55 PDT
Seeing that this feature is now in safari technology preview builds, it seems that there should be no holding back adding that feature to that page now?

Who is the person to ping that can make this happen?
