Hi,

I would humbly like to suggest that a basic Tinderbox (type of) build testing system be set up for the WebKit tree. This automated tool would reveal tree breakages and aid in efficient and rapid fixes. (I am not able to engineer nor administer such a system due to the duties of my job, so this bug may be moot. I only like to build the code on Linux/i386 to mark the progress of this commendable project.)

I do understand that as WebKit is rapidly evolving, tree breakage is normal and expected. However, I believe Mozilla, esp. in its early development, benefited greatly from the use of Tinderbox. Thank you for your consideration.

We already have a buildbot-based build bot at <http://build.webkit.org/>. Improvements to it are more than welcome (much of the config can be found in svn).
