Created attachment 352958 [details] [screen capture] Seen on iPad running 12.0.1 (16A404). Perform the following: 1. Visit <https://bugs.webkit.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=WebKit>. 2. Focus the Summary field. (Notice the caret appears and is blinking). 3. Type H. 4. Press the Home button. 5. Wait 1-2 seconds then open Safari. Notice that no caret is visible. If you type another character, say ‘e’, then the caret appears again. Maybe this is a dup or bug #188322?
