Created attachment 352369 [details] Minimal example Stretched operators lose their stretchiness if a :hover style is triggered, either on the mathml elements directly or their container. I have included a minimal example. Mouse over the formula to see the brace character shrink.

I can confirm the bug with a recent GTK trunk build.
