Your system has GStreamer plugins for webm, vp9 and opus, WebKit is advertising that to YouTube and YouTube is trying to use webm data (as opposed to MP4 with h.264 and mpeg audio). Unfortunately, that configuration requires some custom GStreamer patches that are still in the process of being upstreamed, plus some WebKit patches that are still in the process of being polished and submitted to bugzilla. In other words: it won't work in a regular distro (yet), don't keep trying. The following suggestion isn't suitable for production, but if you have curiosity about how the YouTube MSE behaviour would be with MP4+H.264+mpeg audio (in case you have those GStreamer plugins in your system), just move these libraries in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/ (or the equivalent in your system) temporarily to some other place so GStreamer can't find them: libgstmatroska.so libgstvpx.so libgstopus.so
