Reported 2008-03-30 11:59:02 PDT
I attempted to login to Yahoo mail using several Webkit based browsers. On all except Safari, I got the message "Sorry, the all-new Yahoo! Mail does not support your browser." Apparently they are Sniffing for "Safari", instead of sniffing for "Webkit"

Confirmed: changing the browser name in Safari 3.1 UA string makes Yahoo mail complain about unsupported browser.

As I tested today I cannot see any warning message about unsupported browser on All-new Yahoo! Mail using WebKit r35203. Any confirmations?

The "Webkit" nightly builds actually use your installed Safari .

Sorry for false alarm :(
