Confirmed: changing the browser name in Safari 3.1 UA string makes Yahoo mail complain about unsupported browser. As I tested today I cannot see any warning message about unsupported browser on All-new Yahoo! Mail using WebKit r35203. Any confirmations? The "Webkit" nightly builds actually use your installed Safari . The "Webkit" nightly builds actually use your installed Safari You are absolutely right. Of course I tested the Yahoo Mail in WebKit running under Safari on Mac and it uses Safari user agent string. Sorry for false alarm :( |
