In Firefox and Opera, I can use XSLTProcessor with an XSL file that uses the parent of the passed in source node (that is, if I pass in a node with a parent, not a root or document node). This doesn't work in Safari, however. I attach a test case which runs correctly in Firefox and Opera. Note the "Source Parent" test is blank in Safari.

Looks like a duplicate of bug 14101 to me.
