When opening a new tab using Command-Enter from the URL bar, the icon for the current tab changes to the icon of the newly opened tab.
Reproducable: Always
On: Safari 3 as well as Nightlies
To reproduce:
1. Open a site (eg. http://news.bbc.co.uk )
2. Enter another ( eg. http://www.apple.com ) into the URL bar
3. Press Command-Enter so Apple's site loads in the background
The icon for the BBC News website changes from the BBC Logo to the Apple logo

Tabs and the icon displayed in the location bar are a Safari-level feature, not something that is implemented in WebKit. I shall migrate this bug to Radar so the Safari team can track it and then close this as INVALID per our processes to indicate that it is not a WebKit issue.
