I have in ~/.cache/epiphany/applications a 57.3 kB ApplicationCache.db, a 32.8 kB ApplicationCache.db-shm, and an 10.4 MB ApplicationCache.db-wal, despite having just cleared all of my offline web application cache since the beginning of time using the WebsiteDataStore::removeData API.
