Created attachment 298997 [details] New tab content repeated 4 times as tiled wallpaper This was previously reported as a Gnome Epiphany bug: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=777291 I have a dual monitor setup. My laptop has a HiDPI monitor (3200x1800) and I use an external 24" monitor (1920x1200). I'm running an up-to-date Archlinux, Gnome 3.22.2 (with Wayland) and Epiphany 3.22.4 (WebKitGtk version 2.14.2). When I open Epiphany, any tabs that were open in the previous session open normally. When I click the new tab button or press CTRL+T, the new tab content is repeated 4 times like the attached screenshot. If I navigate using the newly opened tab, all page visits are broken like that. If I close Epiphany completely and reopen it, all tabs are displayed correctly. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Epiphany on Wayland. 2. Open a new tab. Actual: 1. The new tab content is displayed 4 times as if it's tiled (see screenshot). Expected: 1. The new tab content should display once covering the full window size. Additional Info: 1. This happens only the first time I connect the external monitor. If I disconnect and reconnect the monitor. Epiphany works fine. 2. The same bug appears in the developer tools (when using "Inspect element").

I am trying to figure out whether this bug is still relevant. Here I have a HiDPI laptop screen myself, but I cannot reproduce this issue anymore when I plug a screen (I tried both a normal FHD monitor and a HiDPI QFHD one). Currently I am using GNOME 3.28, more precisely: - WebKitGTK+ 2.20.3 - Epiphany 3.28.3.1 - GNOME Shell 3.28.2 Theodoros, could you check whether this is solved for you using newer versions of the software as well? Hi Adrian, I completely forgot about this. Indeed it's been resolved in the current Gnome/Epiphany version. I don't recall seeing this issue since 3.26, or 3.24 even. Thanks!
