Created attachment 293656 [details] Examples with Hebrew Text Text content added to a <tspan> node where `direction: rtl` & `writing-mode: rl-tb` displays right-to-left as expected. But if I try to relatively position the characters with a `dx` attribute on the <tspan>, the text content displays left-to-right. I can reproduce this issue on Safari 9, 10, & Webkit nightly r208270 on macOS 10.11 & 10.12.

I'm afraid this also occurs if i add a non-zero `letter-spacing` style. See new attachment.

Safari, Chrome, and Firefox all agree on rendering for this test case. I don't believe there is any remaining compatibility issue.
