Summary:
If you send an e-mail where the some addresses in the "To" field were not recognised, Safari does not display the error message and instead just stays in compose
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Gmail>Compose
2. In the "To" field type e-mails that won't be recognised e.g:
Stephen Harbage <s.harbage@yahoo.co.uk>"Stephen Harbage" <s.harbage@yahoo.co.uk>
3. Click on Send
4. Click OK to: Send message without a subject?
Expected Results:
I expected it to come up with the error: 'Some addresses in the "To" field were not recognized. Please make sure that all addresses are properly formed.'
Actual Results:
But in reality it just says 'sending' at the top of the screen and then does nothing; stays at the compose page
Regression:
This works fine in the older version of Gmail (in top right hand corner click on 'Old Version' and repeat steps to reproduce)
Notes:
It works fine in FF 2.x and Camino 1.5.x
But doesn't work in Safari 3 or nightly 28314
The workaround is to use the 'Older Version' of GMail
I also added it here: <rdar://problem/5624967>

Confirmed with WebKit nightly r28314. No dialog is presented, unlike Firefox 2.0.0.10.
