[VIDEO] stutter drag leftwards

Summary:

When the selection end time is dragged in the overview graph's ruler, the overview view's ruler fluidly changes horizontal position.
When the selection start time is dragged in the overview graph's ruler, the overview view's ruler stutters, changing only every ~100px while the bars in the timeline change fluidly. This is confusing.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Turn on all timelines
2. Load apple.com
3. Select the middle part of the recording in the timeline by dragging from 1s rightward to the end
=> overview view's ruler fluidly updates
4. Select the middle part of the recording in the timeline by dragging from the end to the beginning
=> updates fluidly at first, then really stutters near the 1s mark
