Despite checking the appropriate box in VoiceOver Utility, Announcement section, VoiceOver does not automatically read dialog boxes.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Check box to automatically read dialog boxes in Announcement section, of Verbositity section in VoiceOver Utility.
2) Click on a web element to produce a dialog box.
Here is a jsfiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/awpawluczkowycz/oLqbv8rs/
Press button to trigger a confirmation dialog.
VoiceOver does not automatically read dialog, but it should.
Mac 10.11.6 using Safari 9, August 8, 2016.
Works as expected in Safari 6, 7 and 8. And VoiceOver can read the dialog box contents, but not automatically.
