You can do a keybord select and cut and paist it to a new location but all interaction with the mouse have been disabled.

Try to drag and drop the image
Note: It is posible by making a selection around the image and then drag the selection, but this isn't how othere images behave.

Anders, thank you for the details! I can confirm now the issue in Webkit r31132 on Mac OS X 10.5
