Created attachment 273573 [details] [Demonstration] Proportional CJK Punctuation Overlapping Bug Webkit Version: WebKit-SVN-r197678 Safari Version: The most recent developer preview of OS X 10.11.4 and iOS 9.3 (as when WebKit-SVN-r197678 was released). Suppose that you prepare the following text (in Hiragino Kaku Gothic ProN or Source Han Sans) with its underlined parts "not underlined but actually an URL link", you will see some glyphs overlapped together if 'palt' is enabled: "實驗《昔の物語》第二回。" Please see the demonstration attachment for details.

Update: The "underlined" hyperlink text should be "昔の物語". Nevertheless, the attachment is powerful enough to demonstrate this bug.

Bug still exists in WebKit-SVN-r198125. Please let me know if this issue will never be intended to get fixed. Thus, I will tell my website visitors to ask them to use Google Chrome instead. However, this still is troublesome on iOS since all browsers on iOS are forced to use Webkit.
