I am unsure if this is the correct place to report this, but I am going to anyway.
Safari ignores urls that have been passed via the command line, ie.
If someone executes:
"c:\program files\safari\safari.exe" "http://www.apple.com/iphone/"
it should launch apple.com/iphone, but it does not, it ignores that and loads the homepage.
I have had no luck explaining this on the safari discussion forums, hopefully people here understand.
I ahve marked this as critical, as it basicly hinders anyone setting safari as the default browser, because there is no point, you click a link in an external app, and .... it loads the homepage.

This is not a WebKit issue, so it will be moved to Apple internal Radar and tracked there.

Closing as INVALID as this is not a WebKit issue.

How do i track the progress now?
Alexey Proskuryakov
I believe <devbugs@apple.com> is the address one can use for such inquiries.
Mark, I hope this isn't tracked as low priority in Radar - it should be possible to use Safari as a default browser, shouldn't it? :-)

This issue has already been fixed in later seeds. See Bug 14747 Comment #5 for details on how to download them.
