Created attachment 264034 [details] Test page showing extreme blurriness on a scaled-down image The first image, scaled down from its original dimensions, looks very blurry. An HTML <img> scaled to these dimensions doesn't seem to have this problem. Chrome also has this problem. (Firefox has the opposite one; it scales them down with a very blocky algorithm.)

Safari, Chrome, and Firefox all agree on rendering for this test case. I don't believe there is any remaining compatibility issue. No longer blurry in Safari.
