When visiting the following .gov site (describing the digital/analog converter boxes for the upcoming analog-digital TV switchover), I notice that the left navigation bar renders over the main body of the page. Confirmed on latest nightly build.

A glance at the DOM tree suggests that this is the result of the document having misnested tags, which we're handling in a different manner than other browsers

Same thing happens in Safari 2.0.4 (419.3) with original WebKit on Mac OS X 10.4.10 (8R218), so this is not a regression.

I can't confirm this in nightly r29955.

This isn't an issue in r30028 on 10.5.1. I suggest this be marked as Resolved.

I think this might have been fixed by a site change.
