When I minimize a Maximised Safari window to the task bar and then restore it via alt-tab or by clicking the app on the task bar, it initially restores as fully maximised in my window, but then changes to so that it is in a non-maximised configuration, and usually restores itself at a different size and outside the boundries of my screen.
This last worked in 3.0.2

I believe this is a dupe of <rdar://problem/5023398>. Safari doing what you describe has happened to me since the original 3.0 Beta so I doubt what you're seeing is new in 3.0.3.
Regardless, this is a Safari bug, not a WebKit bug and is invalid for Bugzilla. If you're not sure that this is the same problem I'm seeing, please file a new bug at <https://bugreport.apple.com>.
