Instead of continuing to try to shoehorn the legacy IDB implementation into the WK2 process model, moving it farther from being able to work in WK1 also, we should start "from scratch" Not really from scratch, because the bindings are in place, and the backing store is in place. But everything in-between has always needed modernization with an architecture overhaul. <rdar://problem/21911093>
