Description Frédéric Parrenin 2015-01-19 11:39:04 PST
This video does not play nicely on my debian 8 system with epiphany 3.14.1:
http://urchn.org/post/the-making-of-user-lib
The sound stops after a few seconds and the video is not continuous.
The video plays nicely on firefox.

Works fine in Fedora 22 with WebKitGTK+ 2.8.1, GStreamer 1.4.5.
Comment 2 Philippe Normand 2015-05-05 06:19:17 PDT
Works fine here in Debian unstable with Epiphany 3.14.1 and GStreamer 1.4.4-2
Comment 3 Philippe Normand 2015-05-05 06:20:51 PDT
Does it play fine with Totem and/or gst-launch-1.0 playbin uri=... ?
Comment 4 Frédéric Parrenin 2015-05-05 07:25:18 PDT
The video does not play nicely with totem.
I have not tried gst-launch-1.0 since it is not installed on my system.
So maybe I should rather report this to gstreamer?

Yes, seems like that would be a better option.

So I'm closing this bug, feel free to reopen it if you manage to get Totem to play that video but it still doesn't work well within Epiphany.

I will reassign the GNOME bug you filed against Epiphany to GStreamer.
