In iOS 8 Safari but not in iOS 8 Chrome, the <input> element sometimes drops key presses if they occur too quickly.
Steps to reproduce
1. Connect a bluetooth barcode scanner to the device. This would probably be possible to reproduce with any bluetooth keyboard.
2. Scan bar codes.
3. Notice occasional dropped key presses, usually near the end of the 8-20 digit codes.
Unfortunately this bug makes our bar code scanners useless in mobile Safari.
