Vertical text is a new feature of the SVG text engine living in the feature-branch. Vertical text selection hasn't been taken care of yet.

This needs a test case attached (should be easy to make or pull one from the W3C SVG 1.1. spec).

Seems to be fixed. Please reopen it, if someone finds an example that doesn't work.
