The remote inspector runs in a WK1 context. I have not seen many crashes in a normal (WK2) inspector window.

Steps to reproduce:

1 Attach an iOS8 device
2 Remotely inspect google.com from "Develop > [device] > [page]"
3 Reload the page and interact
4 Crash

For me, the remote inspector crashes almost immediately. I'm running a TOT build on Mavericks.
