Typing in text field repaints too much on tivo.com Attaching a reduction. If you use Quartz Debug, you'll see the repaint occur outside of the text field. If you go to the live site at http://www.tivo.com/tco , and type in the search field, you'll see most of the page repaint. <rdar://problem/5083328> REGRESSION: Sluggish text entry in search field on tivo.com/tco caused by excessive redrawing

Looks like this has something to do with absolutely positioned background images.
