Web Inspector: Color Picker: changing the opacity of an hsl color switches to rgba (should be hsla)

Steps:
1) <div style="color: hsl(0, 100%, 100%)">
2) inspect
3) click color swatch to bring up picker
4) slide opacity slider

Observed:
color switches to rgba

Expected:
color switches to hsla

Looks like I was looking at an outdated color picker.
