when i type a character in the international pallet it dose "ッッッッッッッッ" and types just the first letter 8 times.

im using the international control to type in japanese and chinese characters to wright in the browser on a website try it on mixi.jp

Sorry, but I still don't understand. What is "the international control"? Is it something specific to this site?

when i type in a language like chinese or japanese characters it dosent work it types about 8 of the first characters. when i say control panel i mean the internatinal settings through system prefrences pannel allowing me to type in alphabets other than english
