if a list-image is implemented via css, the images are not shown if you load the list on a page, where the list with the images is displayed directly in the window-range you see ... only if you scroll down (or up) and move the list with the images out of the window-range, and scroll back, the images are displayed. Alternative they're shown if you mark the text with the mouse manually ...
