Created attachment 215067 [details] bug hyphens html webkit / firefox I've testing on Windows and Mac OS, with Webkit, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, IE and Opéra. Only browsers on webkit have the bug : When I use the &shy; on html documents, hyphens are not displayed correctly. You can see attachments with testing on Webkit and Firefox (it's ok on Firefox).

I can confirm this bug; Webkit (Safari, Chrome) still displays the hyphen incorrect (not or in the wrong place).

https://jsfiddle.net/4Lz3065j/ Loads and resize 'result' and it shows 'hyphen' after 'before' like as show in reference image that other browser shows.

I am unable to reproduce this based on simple screenshot of bug (and taking it in JSFiddle) - https://jsfiddle.net/re3a6x7o/ Since it was never confirmed, so marking it as 'RESOLVED WONTFIX'.
