Since a few versions, WebKit crashes after under a minute. I'm not sure if it's the same amount of time every time, but it's independent from what I do; it will always crash very soon. If I search for an update one is found, but if I try to download it WebKit will crash before it is downloaded or even installed. If I download the newest build via Safari, nothing changes - it still crashes and it still shows me an available update which I can't install cause WebKit crashes before completion.
This happens on both my iMac (2007) and MacBook Pro (2011) w/ both OS X 10.8.5.

Solved. Problem was the dock icon started the old version which was not replaced in my applications folder, only renamed. New and normally functioning version of WebKit waited in the Applications folder and has never been started.
