Originally filed on GNOME bugzilla (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=699355), hopefully this is the right place:
I've used Amazon's Cloud Reader (https://read.amazon.com) as an epiphany web app for several releases, with the webkit 1 backend. Now, with Epiphany 3.8.x on Fedora 19, which uses the Webkit2 backend (2.0.3 according to the about panel) the site is rendered with only a black background, and nothing else. Using "Inspect element" on the page, a javascript error "SecurityError: DOM Exception 18: An attempt was made to break through the security policy of the user agent." is reported against KindleApp-min.js
Comment on the gnome bug from epiphany developer Claudio Saavedra was:
I checked this with WebKit's minibrowser and gtklauncher and it seems to be
WebKit2 specific. Could you please report it in the webkit bug report system?

works fine with WebKit nightly. -> GTK
It starts with the black blank view and redirects to
