Created attachment 202220 [details] screen shot of caption popover in full screen mode With NB r150336, I'm seeing a artifact appears on the right side of the captions popover ( while in full screen mode ). I'm able to reproduce on a MBP late 2007 running Mac OS X 10.8.3 ( resolution at 1440 x 900 NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 256 MB graphics ). This DOESN'T happen on a MBP Retina or iMac Aluminum 2007 with NB r150336. 1) Launch Webkit NB r150336 under Mac OS X 10.8.3 2) Go to http://www.apple.com/ipad-mini/overview/ 3) Click on Watch the Video thumbnail 4) Once video displays, click the full screen icon on toolbar to enter full screen video mode 5) Click balloon icon ( caption ) on toolbar. Notice the artifact on the popover. See screen shot.

Alas, we haven't had any luck reproducing this on our hardware. My guess, based on the screenshot, is that this would be the scroll gutter. Do you have a mouse attached to your computer when you see this?

I get it with scrollbars always showing in the system prefs.

Excellent.. I just turned on "Show Scrollbars - Always" on a system that didn't reproduce the problem and no it reproduces. The older MBP that reproduced the problem had the default setting of "Show Scroll Bar - Automatically based on mouse and trackpad" but changing the setting "Show Scrollbars - When Scrolling" fixes it .

So with the default setting of "Show Scroll Bar - Automatically based on mouse and trackpad" enabled on my MBP retina and MBP ( 2007 mode ), why doesn't the older BMP model display the scrollbar artifact ?

I mean WHY does the older BMP model display the scrollbar artifact and not both ?
