I am using the nightly build of the webkit app. When I try to load a feed, either by clicking on a bookmark, or clicking the blue RSS tag in the address bar, the feed does not load. Actually what it appears to do is constantly try to reload. Whichever window the feed is trying to load in, becomes the front most window. If I try to switch to another application, webkit forces itself to be the active application and the window with the rss feed attempting to load is the focussed window. I really like to use Webkit.app instead of Safari, due to the better features.

Reporter, what is your default RSS reader (configurable in Safari preferences)? It should be Safari, not WebKit.

Ok, I did as you said and it works fine. It is odd that when I have Safari set as the default rss reader, that the freed comes up properly in Webkit, instead of throwing it over to Safari. As long as it works though, I am a happy camper. Webkit is cooler that Safari, so I prefer to use it. the CSS inspector has been of great use in the last couple of days. I am not willing to give that feature up for a little bit of RSS. Is Webkit going to be tweaked so that it can handle RSS feeds properly?

> Is Webkit going to be tweaked so that it can handle RSS feeds properly? That code is in Safari and thus not open source, so only Apple can change anything in this regard. You can file a bug with Apple via <http://bugreport.apple.com> for Apple engineers to take a look. Closing this bug as INVALID.
